REAL DELTA BLUES: COME GET SOME ON YA'!
Mississippi Marshall is one of the best blues guitarists in the Delta. A songwriter and storyteller, he's played here for over a half-century.
Regularly touring from the South to the Rockies and back again, Marshall is consistently booked for his reputation as an authentic, heartfelt performer with a repertoire of classic and original songs that'll "pin ya to your seat!" Marshall reads a room and is comfortable in everything from intimate settings to Ground Zero Blues Club's center stage.
You can often find him playing live in the Mississippi Delta solo, with his grandson Grayson, and with his band the Juke Daddys. Read more about Mississippi Marshall, sample or buy his music, and book him here.
See Marshall Live
Mississippi Marshall was instrumental (ha!) in launching Live From Clarksdale, which kept the blues alive for over 400 nights straight throughout the pandemic. He, and sometimes Grayson, played every Sunday afternoon on what he cheekily called his Social Distancing Tour. As he returns to touring with large audiences, an international community of blues lovers still gathers whenever Marshall plays live online.
Here, he plays in his backyard with grandson Grayson (pre-mullet) above the bank of the Tallahatchie River.
